Angela Peron
Angela Peron is an associate professor of medical genetics at the University of Florence and chief of the division of medical genetics at Meyer Children’s Hospital in Florence (Italy). She is a clinical geneticist and the past president of the European Board of Medical Genetics (EBMG). She earned her MD degree from Vita-Salute San Raffaele University in Milan in 2009, completed a residency in Medical Genetics at the University of Milan in 2015, and her PhD in Clinical Research at the University of Milan in 2021.
Angela Peron provides clinics for children and adults with different genetic conditions, especially neurodevelopmental disorders and congenital anomalies. Her primary research interests focus on Tuberous Sclerosis, genomic medicine, mosaicism, and dysmorphology.
