Luca Cantarini
Luca Cantarini is graduated in Medicine and specialized in Rheumatology at the University of Siena. He is Associate Professor of Rheumatology at the University of Siena since 2018. Professor Cantarini was a Rheumatology Fellow at The Rayne Institute, Lupus Research Unit, Guy’s and St Thomas Hospital Trust, London, U.K in 2003 and qualifi ed in Pediatric Rheumatology, University “La Cattolica”, Rome (Italy) in 2007. He has been the Referral physician for Autoinfl ammatory Disorders at the Universidade Federal de Sao Paulo, Brazil, from January 2012 to January 2014. Co-Chair of the Autoinfl amatory Disorders working Group of PRES, Pediatric Rheumatology European Society from September 2014 to September 2017. Secretary of the Autoinfl ammatory Diseases working group of SIR (Italian Society of Rheumatology) since 2014. Coordinator of the Scientifi c Committee of the AIFP (Associazione Italiana Febbri Periodiche) since 2014. Referee in more than 140 peer-Reviewed journals. His main research fields are Autoinfl ammatory diseases, Behcet’s disease, Adult Onset Still Disease, Intraocular Infl ammation (Uveitis, Retinal Vasculitis), biologic therapy. He is author of more than 280 publication in international peer-reviewed journals with an H-index of 40.
