Daniela Massi

Daniela Massi was born 1969 and graduated in Medicine in 1993 at the University of Florence. She has a specialist degree in Anatomic Pathology and a Ph.D. in Human Oncological Pathology. She performed a fellowship in Dermato-pathology first at the Institute for Dermatopathology, Thomas Jefferson University, Philadelphia (PA), USA (1995-1996) and then at the Dermatology Clinic at the University of Graz, Austria (1997, 1999). She is currently Associate Professor of Anatomic Pathology at the University of Florence. She received national and international funded peer-reviewed research projects: MIUR-PRIN, and National Cancer Institute (NIH). She has provided lectures upon invitation at 135 national and 60 international meetings.Research activities of Prof. Daniela Massi is substantiated by 280 original publications on international peer reviewed journals. She is the author of 2 monographs and 18 book chapters. She is Volume Editor of the 4th edition of 'Pathology & Genetics of Skin Tumors' volume of the World Health Organization (WHO) Classification of Tumors series. She has a H-index of 38, with a number of total citations of 5,237.
