Stefano Gonnelli

Stefano Gonnelli was born on December 26th, 1952 in Colle Val d’Elsa. In 1981, he served as a University Researcher at the University of Siena. He has obtained specializations in Cardiology, Endocrinology and Preventive Medicine at the University of Siena. In February 2000, Stefano Gonnelli was appointed Associate Professor of Internal Medicine at the University of Siena. He currently serves in the Department of Medicine, Endocrine-Metabolic and Biochemistry Sciences. He is author of more than 400 publications about endocrine-metabolic topics. In particular, Professor Gonnelli was concerned with topics related to physiopathology of phosphocalcic metabolism and the diagnosis and treatment of metabolic osteopathies.
